In 2024, War Child relaunched Secret 7” at London’s NOW Gallery, pairing seven iconic tracks with 700 unique record sleeves.
Each artwork was auctioned to raise money for children affected by conflict, with its creator kept secret until after the sale.
My submission was inspired by Aurora’s “A Different Kind of Human.”
The song moves between trepidation and wonder, carrying a sense of calm and hope even in its darkest moments.
My illustration is dedicated to those who shone too brightly for this world, imagining their departure as a peaceful journey to somewhere better.
My Role: concepts, digital Illustration.
It was a real honour to see my work exhibited alongside creative legends including Sir Paul Smith, Rankin, Jamie Hewlett, Tacita Dean and Stanley Donwood.
Through the auction of 700 unique sleeves, artists raised £210,000 for War Child.
