Gucci Cosmos

The Gucci Carousel is a striking collection of garments worn by actors, musicians and cultural figures, forming part of the Gucci Cosmos exhibition at 180 Strand.

Set within the wider world of Gucci Cosmos, The Carousel explores life, fantasy and identity in all their forms. The installation is framed by a series of illustrations created through an exquisite corpse style collaboration. I was invited to contribute two original works centred on themes of space, celestial bodies and the metaphysical.

My illustrations reimagine the enduring myth of King Arthur and Lady of the Lake as figures suspended in time and space, alongside the ethereal presence of Ophelia from William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, her lament echoing across a vast, cosmic landscape.
