As one of PlayStation’s most iconic pieces of hardware, the DualSense wireless controller is strongly associated with console play. Our challenge was to introduce it to the PC desktop gaming space.

For the PC Ready campaign, the aim was to give PC players confidence that DualSense works seamlessly on PC and position it as a natural choice for desktop gaming. The work needed to feel unmistakably PlayStation, while showing that the brand could speak confidently to a PC audience.

My Role: Concept development, art direction, 3D design, lighting, compositing, retouching and final 15K artwork delivery.

The portal design acted as a visual metaphor for PlayStation entering the PC gaming space, giving the controller the feeling of moving between worlds.

A minimal use of PlayStation branding allowed the PC Ready message to lead, helping the campaign show up authentically in traditional PC retail spaces.

Motion helped bring the campaign to life, adding impact across online, digital out of home and in-store placements.
