Love Sick, and further experiments, came from a desire to explore simple naratives and play with building worlds.
The Process
Seeing a character grow from a rough sketch to a realised idea is a rewarding journey. I started this project to begin exploring a character design style and process. It all begins with an idea or a moment I want to capture and grows from here. The characters, props and environments are then modelled and rendered in 3D (modo) before beging taken to Adobe Photoshop to composite and bring the final illustration to life.
